About the Hiking Inn
When it comes to hospitality, we want to exceed your expectations. Taking good care of our guests is what we do best. From a friendly smile to a healthy breakfast. We strive to provide genuine hospitality.
The Hiking Inn was a concept developed over several years. The home was built in 2003 as a private residence. In February 2011, Lynn David purchased the home with the desire to develop a place for visitors to use as a base to enjoy Midway, Heber Valley, Park City and Sundance environment. The home sits just above the quaint Swiss City of Midway, Utah. Lynn’s passion for hiking in the mountains of Utah and his hobby for collecting Olympic memorabilia is exhibited through the Inn.
The Hiking Inn has three levels
On the Main Level is a wonderful entry foyer, a living room with a magnificent view of Heber Valley, a formal dining room, a fully equipped office with Wi-Fi throughout the Inn, a family room off a beautiful kitchen and breakfast area, a bedroom with full size bed and full bath, and a master bedroom suite.
On the second floor is a very private bedroom with a king sized bed, newly designed bathroom and large closet.
On the lower level are three bedrooms with king size beds each with a full bath. The lower level has a game room complete with card/poker table, foosball table and a closet with many games and puzzles.
The main area has a large seating area to watch television or choose from over 200 movies to watch with other guests or take to your room. (Each bedroom has its own television and DVD player.) If you enjoy reading there is a nice selection of novels to choose from. In addition, there is a large fitness room equipped with professional Life Fitness equipment. The fully equipped kitchen and separate breakfast area have full view of the pool room equipped with full size pool table and stools for seating.
The lower level has a separate entrance with a full patio area and two seating areas. Badminton/volleyball is available for use in the nicely manicured lawn off the lower level patio. Above the lower level patio is a full deck that is accessed from the Main level. Both seating areas have beautiful views of Heber Valley and the mountains.
