Mill Canyon Ridge is directly west and above The Hiking Inn. The trail head starts about 200 feet north of the front door of The Hiking Inn. The route is available for climbing year round. However, from November through March snowshoes will be required for at least the upper part of the climb. The elevation is approximately 2,000 feet above The Hiking Inn which is at 5,850 feet. Along the trail are several locations with a great view of the Heber Valley and from May through September there will be many varieties of flowers to see. The view of Mill Canyon Peak at the top of the ridge is beautiful all year round, but in September the color of the Mountains with the yellow Aspen trees is outstanding.
